My sister has a Denali and pulls about 17 mpg on the highway, if that helps. It all depends on the engine and the load you schlep around though.

thats probably a good guess.. and i have 22 in wheels so i think its worse -- big huge wide tires
i don't haul around too much except for the kids
thats why i feel its kindof a waste right now

I know it's not what you asked, but I gotta toot my own horn.

2003 VW TDI Jetta converted to run on used deep-fat fryer grease: 48mpg overall, 215mpg of diesel (I get the used fryer grease for free).

Man I love this car!

My 2001 Prius is getting about 44 mpg and doesn't smell like french fries (on the outside).

umm 2004 tahoe with huge tires and wheels. Im guessing you get about 12 to 16 in the city and maybe 17 on the highway.

a heavy foot will decrease those numbers as well.

a v6 accord will do way better at least 22 city and about 25 highway (or better)

I have an account and the gas bill goes to the ranch.. i was concerned with the cuumulative bill and how much it would cost the ranch every month... my mother as sole owner ...since my father passed... that " Nobody else worries about how much they are charging in gas ( meaning my brothers or their wives ) so why the hell should you... we don't have shortage here and the oil guy said he could get us as much gas as we want " i was trying to be the changer and thinker and it is not working .. so i thank you wholeheartedly for the mileage info and since I am a 29 year old woman living in the strange life of a 16 year old ... My mommy has said " No -- you will not trade in your car"
I am so entangled in this family business life with no chance of independence

Joking about the mommy part -- I call her mom.

Good lord... that is a truckload of money for insurance. I pay around $600.00 Canadian per year...for 2 vehicles. Sure am glad I don't have to pay those rates.
