I am thinking of selling my 300d digital rebel. Bought at Christmas time. I will sell the original rebel kit that still has some factory warranty with it. Everything that came with the camera will be included.
Not really sure what to ask for it. I see them on ebay going between 6 an 700. The camera has had 5800 pictures taken on it. It is in great shape. Anyone interested....let me know.

I am looking for a good camera, instead of the click and shoot I am using now, I have had my eyes on the Canon S2 IS, its running at 475, but I am going now to see what yours is. I don't have no idea anything about the camera you're selling, but if you know some advantages over the Canon S2, please mention it. |

I beleive he is upgrading (from another thread I read).
Barry, do you have it up on eBay (or just the forums here)? If on eBay peeps don't bite until there is around 2 days left on an auction (can't let the competition know you want it).
Looks like they are getting $525-$540 over there depends on the day.

i want a 20d. I shoot mostly action.....soccer, basketball, cross country.....and would like to start shooting some of the high school activities that my daughter is not a part of. my brother in law has one and he loves it. He shoots alot of nascar stuff and has been shooting school stuff in his town. I want the extra burst capability that comes with the 20d...and also the higher megapixels. |

sacred....i do not know anything about the canon s2.......what I am selling would now probably be considered the most basic entry level digital slr. Unlike your point and shoot...this takes pictures just like a film camera. You push the button and it shoots it right then...no delay like the point and shoot. |

Wow, this looks like a pretty good camera, and a hop, skip, and jump away from the one I got now. Tell me though, do you have to buy lenses with this camera for it to be functional, or can I use the camera for a little bit until I can afford that part. |

it comes with the 18-55mm lens. I bought a canon 75-300 lens that was fairly cheap....less than 200. Depending on what you are going to be taking pictures of...the 18-55 does a good job. You can use this and decide on different lenses in the future. I might even be willing to let the 75-300 go with it.....as I would also like to get a better lens.
She is already wanting to divorce me for this....whats an extra 2 grand for a lens. hehe |

Sacred, this would take you to the next level creatively (dof, bokeh etc) and the 18-55mm is a pretty decent walk about lens to start.
Barry the 70-200mm 4L isn't really that bad of a lens for sports and it won't break the bank right away at $579.
On the linked page about 7 down you will see 07.04.05 - SAN DIEGO, CA - SAN DIEGO CO. FAIR - MONSTER TRUCKS!
Click on [ CAMERA ANGLE #1 - ANDY P. ] there's about 50 shots of monster trucks I took with the 70-200mm 4L

I would really like to talk to you a little bit more about your asking price, I don't wanna beg on an open forum, but I am in all honesty interested. |

I would sell the basic kit with a battery grip and also a 70-300 canon lens for 800. |
