I was moving a pile of mulch and just so happened to be the birthday of 25+ black rat snakes. I got to see several hatch. Due to their poor nesting location, I had no choice but to kill them all.....J/K Moved all the eggs and newborns to safe area.

Where was this ? Don'tknow anything about rat snakes. Are they dangerous and why did ou have to kill them?
Not moaning - just interested!

This is in Pittsburgh Pa. Not dangerous at all, did NOT kill them. I relocated the entire nest so they would be safe. took a while but it was very interesting seeing the hatch. |
