The first time I drank a Rolling Rock was in NJ. But back then in NJ it was less expensive then Budwieser. Down here all beer is expensive, so it realy doesn't matter. |
ditto the flavor part. where i grew up, there wasn't much choice (pbr, bud, miller, schlitz). it wasn't until i met people from nj/philly that i learned about things like genny cream ales, yuengling, rolling rock, and the like. at that time, they all seemed 'exotic'. and, with a bud brewery just around the corner, there wasn't much incentive to branch out. |
