The Parker shot is great!! (umm Portrait?, lol)-- He had one helluve a game.

Thats my boy. GO CHIEFS (27-7) 32 of 39 superbowl champions won their first game.
Owe hey and if anybody finds time to comment on the photo plz do. It was gonna be my portrait entry, but I laid it aside for a different one. |

Many thanks! I'm having much better luck with my new D70s; it seems to do a much better job of holding the focus than my D100 had done in the past. I don't know if there was an actual problem with the D100, or if they have just made improvements that have been implemented in the D70s, but it has been like night and day for me.
Don't get me wrong, I still like my D100 and I still plan to get many more shots out of it, but for the games, I'm having much better luck with the new toy. I'm waiting for my teleconverter to arrive -- I'm really looking forward to seeing how things will go with a little extra reach! |

Oh... I meant to mention that it was very nice to meet a brand new DPC'er who found the site this week while Googling for some tips for shooting NFL games (he stumbled on my semi-informed tutorial here). I met up with holyfam at the game, and enjoyed spending time with him on the sidelines.
I'm looking forward to seeing his shots! |

Wow, it is sooo sad to see so many delusional foks out in DPC land, folks who think that they're team has a chance against the WORLD CHAMPION NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!!!! as an almost 30yr Pats fan, I only have three things to say to you folks,
