Took a couple of shots of my sister's new puppy Coco
She's a sprocker spaniel (cross between springer and cocker)
I know the background could/should be better but getting the wee rascal to sit still for two seconds was a huge challenge. Any pet portrait photographers out there I take my hat off to you.

What a cute little puppy!!
I hope her body grows to match her headsize, lol!

| Being a pet owner, I know how difficult it is to get them to sit still. I think you did a fabulous job, the first shot is my favorite. |

What a gorgeous pup!! The first shot is very cute.
What works sometimes with pups is to get a toy and have a play with them first.....then they look at the camera (oftentimes it doesn't work LOL)
Trick with pet portraits is to take loads of photos and hopefully a few work out right!!

I love the 1st one, having tried a few myself a flash comes in handy for those catchlights, damn elusive little chaps though I agree.
Lovely subject, well taken.

I couldn't mention this during the challenge Steve, quite topical for you as his owners hail from near Rogie Falls in Scotland, we had the pleasure of looking after him for three weeks ( absolutely bonkers ), sadly he was picked up 2 nights ago and is now back home. :(
