Hi I set my D70 to work in adobe RGB. However every time I open a pic in pscs it tells me that the file is in sRGB. Has anyone else experienced the same?

Do you shoot RAW or JPEG? What is the process that you do before they are opened in Photoshop CS? Are you opening them straight in Photoshop or RAW files in Camera RAW? Or are you using some other software before you open them in Photoshop?
Even if your camera shoots Adobe RGB, the images could get converted to sRGB before it reaches Photoshop, depending on how you are transfering and opening them.

OK! excellent. You hit the nail on thehead. I convert RAW's using Raw shooter. The basic jpegs are indeed in Adobe RGB. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :)
