Here are a couple more tips for the Photo Studio.

I got these great clamps I use with my backdrops. They are strong but not marking, they hold tight but do not mark the fabric or poles. The best part is they are $10.00 at Home Depot for 16 clamps.

Also, watch JoAnne Fabrics for the sale coupons. You can get a 40% off coupon in the Sunday paper (I'm in the Chicago Illinois area). I used mine to buy an entire bolt of 108" bleached muslin. The muslin was $75.00 less the 40% off which came to about $45.00. I was able to make four full size backdrops out of this bolt. (three 9'x11' and one 9x12')

I bought some RIT dye and made my own.

Here is a link I posted earlier for the DIY backdrops.

Those little clamps, cheap, yes, and cheap, yes. I have used them for my studio stuff without problems...just don't drop them on anything or put excessive pressure on them or they break. I am building a Teardrop camping trailer and have broken 2 of them.
If you have a Harbor Freight in town...go buy there. $6 for a 16 pack. Also lots of things in there to use, and cheap.
