Yes, us Aussie's love our beer....and bourbon....and scotch....and anything else alcoholic.....then we make BIG ads for them! :p

They heard me! They've just started to put on waterproofs at the Oval! Could be an early tea!

great ad... i used to live in melborne & then sydney (5 years total) in my youth. Folks used to always answer the question, "what time is it" with "The time is right for a two is light" or something like that. Do you all still say this?

That would be a "Toohey's light" beer. I don't remember that slogan (but I got to an age when avoided watching TV commercials as much as possible). When I was a wee lad, their jingle was "I feel like a Toohey's". To which we would answer, "You don't look like one."

i just decided to listen to some classical music today.. and when i heard the song.. it reminded me of something... hmm..... OHHHH IT WAS THAT ADD I SAW THROUGH DPC... hehe... itmade me laugh so much... i can't take this song seriously anymore...

so a bump for anyone who didn't get to see this add.

Yep it's a great ad.

I love the cynical jibe they take at themselves, brewery's here seem to think whoever makes the biggest and most expensive ad wins the war.
