Please let me know what you think of these, taken too early for the challenge. I am curious what they might have scored, and if you prefer the photo version or the drybrush filter version of the blonde cutie.

Thanks.

What BEAUTIFUL models you have to work with! I love the finger shot, but for me personally, it looks overproccesed and stiff? I LOVE candid work. But its hard to get a real canid feel if its posed. They are cute though darlene. I cant wait till Gracie has hair like that.

I would have given the first a high 7 or 8. I am not quite as found of the other 2, personally I just did not like the background. The background does bring out her lovely eyes, but it is almost too bright. Maybe because I work at Progressive and everything is that green color.

That shot was actually not preconcieved. These girls were actually just out of bed after a sleepover with their granny, still wearing matching PJs. I was trying to get a smile out of her, but got this instead. Do you think it is too bright? I liked it bright because it really made her eye pop, but maybe I should tone it back down a bit.

Yes they are adorable - the child and niece of a friend. Elise - Blondie and Paige.

I also like the more candid shot... the "art" shot is just a bit overprocessed for my liking.

I, personally LOVE shots like that. I guess that I am thinking in DPC land.......Which I shouldnt do. I think Its a GREAT shot! You did need a bit more focus between the eyes and the hair though. The expression is nice. Th egreen kind of overpowers the shot, and I may tone it down a bit, but its a great capture. I know my 2 cents worth is valued that way, but its nice

All 2 cents are valued and welcome. If I had more room in my portfolio I would post more. Too late to clean it out tonight!

Absolutely beautiful children, both of them! I personally prefer the version with the sharper eyes, the _Art version... the background really makes her eyes pop, and it's quite attention grabbing, too!
The pose is wonderful, and the crop is great too. Wonder what a tight crop would look like with such a beautiful face.
I like the candid as well, but the expression is not as arresting as the other two, just my two cents.

Left a comment, and grabbed a favorite. The close-ups are simply fantastic. Especially the "painting".. just.. wow.

Seriously. Wow.
