Tonight was, they say, the best night for viewing the triangle formed by a crescent moon, Venus, and Jupiter. So, I snapped a shot or two. This is the first photo I've taken that wasn't just a family snapshot for months and months. Take a look, let me know what you think. Of course, the full-sized version doesn't have jaggies on the moon or anything, like this mini version does. Opinions?

That is hot...
But seriously, very impressive. Not only that you captured the triangle but that you did so while also getting a good color range on the sky (sun-glow to black) and some solid looking silhouettes. I'm very impressed.

Yes indeed, a beautiful shot. It looks like everyone will now try to find some kind of alien or creature lurking in its shadow. For me I see a very large owl with it's eyes glowing and light shining off it's beak. Great job, night shots like that are difficult at best.

A small, one-time only bump for the morning crowd.

Wonderful job. I got clouded out last night. :-(

From a composition standpoint, I love that you captured foreground objects in the shot, but too bad about the tilted and curved horizon line (or is it a house?).

Yuh, that "horizon" is actually a house across the street.
