Can anyone shed any light on why a couple of my commenters id's have been 'hidden during voting'?
And how?

| It's an option we all have in our preferences. Some members/users prefer to have their names hidden during the voting stage to avoid getting PMs from the owners of the pic they've commented on (or for other reasons as well). The names will be revealed after the voting period is over. |

In your preferences there is an option to change your voting/commenting preferences:
Hide My Name
Hide my name on comments I make until voting is over.
Hide Commenters' Names
Hide the name of commenters on my entries until voting is over. |

| It is a choice you can make in your profile. Some people prefer to stay hidden during the challenge to minimise the outraged e-mails of the easily angered. All will be revealed after the challenge has ended. Then you can rip them for their lack of understansding if that is your want;) |

Thanks for all of that guys. Makes much more sense to me now.
Oh and sorry for not spotting the previous thread - I thought I had looked through them all and not found anything. |
