We had gone for a trip to Northern Cal/Crater Lake for the Labor Day weekend. As it happened, a rainstorm developed over Mount Shasta/Lake Shastina when we were there, and the light was simply amazing!! Wanted to share these pictures:

(The last one was taken in the morning the previous day.)
I'd love any comments/suggestions you have! Thanks :)

Man o Man I miss Oregon. Thanks for the pics, they bring back good times from my youth. We use to go to Mt Shasta hiking all of the time when I was in scouts. Nice job!

All are really beautiful. I especially like the last one, I wish I was on the highway.

As vtruan said all are really beautiful. I think the first is best, at least it's my choice among the group.

the fifth and third are my favorites, and I definitely agree that they are all gorgeous.

Exactly my thought! Great shots and way to prove to the non-believers that the kit lens in not garbage!
