You are just one weird dude.

It is pretty simple really........the camera matters. All the processing and cute photos DO NOT. It does not last. Learning is no game and a lot of you are lost in your own foolish slobbering to see this.

WTF are you talking about? The best camera isn't worth a pile of cow crap without the image.

You won't even believe this, but I DID notice earlier - I didn't say anything cuz I noticed in a thread and didn't think to start one about it. I was going to PM you and I think I got distracted.

Wait, who are you? lol

M

Haha, I would never have brought it up except for the hilarity that has ensued in this thread! Well, I'm off to do some dishes and go to bed.

Enjoy the continued analysis of Joey, his photos, his cusswords and his threads. He's probably out shooting or something! Cheers.

If you're talking about the little black backless number, I'm sorry but I call dibs! Actually I'm too big and hairy to wear a dress so you're safe. I just have to pick the right date or my popularity here might take a nose dive or I might not make it into the right click. Maybe I'll see if Riotspyne is available. At least she's cool.

just a reminder that there's a nice little "ignore" feature in the dropdown at the top of the forum screen.

if joey offends you in some way, just ignore it and move on.

Three pages of nonsense here.
This thread has gone bizarre, it's not about my one picture anymore but about me in general.

Here's a little blurb about me then; I'm glad there are some people who don't like my work and secretly PM deapee, start a cult. I'm glad there are those that do dig my stuff, it helps me want to try more things. I've got a collection of my own PM's, deapee.

I'm a teenager that says cunt a lot, usually with a smiley face at the end to let you know I'm kidding. If 'some person' really has to bring that up to defend yourself and twist my words, you are a sad person indeed. Don't you forget that you messaged me after that and we talked fine about different editing.

I'm not wasting my time arguing about pointless things on this thread anymore, I suggest everyone else do the same. You can PM me if you want to chat.

Yeah, I don't see to have that problem. ;-)

Can I be the Homecomming Queen?

By the way, I love everybodys pictures.

I have to vouch for Joey when he says he's kidding after some of the things he says. I've gotten some PM's from him that would make a grown man shudder if they were taken literally lol.

There are maybe hundreds of active participants on this site. Some more than others. Until DPC starts charging per thread, it seems to me a member has the right to start 50 threads a day if they want. If you don't like that person, their photos, their attitude or anything else, you can choose not to read it and skip on by.

There are some here who I typically don't agree with on a personal level and I think their comments suck and they are generally very confrontational people no matter what the subject. So instead of getting frustrated, I just move on now and don't pay attention.

Joey's got some brilliant photos, and he's got some photos that just suck balls. Personally I think he's got as much potential as a photographer as anyone on here and I salute the kid at his age for DOING something artistic, with this much passion and enthusiasm rather than hanging out rolling doobies down by the river.

And as for you, Nightshy, while it's true you are the coolest, you were in diapers when I was your age so I just can't take you to the dance. People will talk.

Absolutely correct.... The photo.. Unique perspective (Oh?! This week's theme?)She has great eyes that even show color in black and white, or is that texture? I like the Blur/misty feel and the contrast is pretty cool too. I agree about the arm seeming a little unnatural and the silver beads from her piercings and necklace seem a bit of a distraction. Perhaps they were a little overexposed.

Oh and by the way, This is the first time I've commented on a photo of joey's when I've known he was the Photographer. I consider my opinions as objective as they come. Everyone has a right to thier different tastes, thank you.

I didn't bring that up to 'defend' myself, as I really don't feel I have anything to defend against. I feel the way I feel, and that's that. If someone isn't feeling me, that's fine. I'll be the first to say that I could care less how many people agree or disagree with me on any topic that I've ever discussed or if I'm just standing by my lonesome self out in the cold. This isn't a popularity contest here that I'm trying to win, Joey (obviously)...but when there's something that I feel strongly about, I'll be damned if I'm going to sugar-coat it and make it all warm and fuzzy.

Like was mentioned earlier, I don't feel I personally attacked you or anyone else from the get go. My statements were directed toward the general audience that idolizes the works that I find rather un-tasteful, such as the hypothetical piece of crap that I mentioned earlier, on page one.

That being said, and to reiterate my point once again, I'm not defending anything by explaining my intentions, I'm just telling it like it is. I'm sorry if you feel attacked here Joey, but that's life man.

I've been grey for about a week now, and not one word ;)

Wasn't expecting any though, since anyone that matters to me knew it was coming and has said whatever they needed to say to me personally.

Ahh.. I'm sorry Joey. I gave what I thought was constructive criticism mixed in with a bit of sarcastic humor to Librodo, and started something similar, although on a much smaller scale (no forums). I won't apologize for that, and I know you don't expect anyone to apologize for not instantly liking everything you share with us. As I've told you before myself, you've got some great raw talent, it improves all the time, so try not to let this minor and silly community get to you.. either overly negatively, or overly positively.. As for the photo you posted.. yah, the misting/dodging/blurring could have benefitted from a much lower opacity while doing it, and layer masks can help a lot too. Keep experimenting though, without experimenting, we don't get anywhere.

Peace.

Sorry, Artyste! I suck at noticing stuff like that. I forgot my aunt was pregnant until the baby came out and then I forgot I had another cousin. I forgot which school my sister went to the whole time she was at Uni and I can't tell you where any of my friends work for the life of me.

I mix my wife's name up with Maria Sharapova's all the time and I confuse my Dad for Evel Knievel. I'm always showing up at the wrong place of employment driving someone else's car and I'm as likely to end up in the women's bathroom as the men's bathroom. And last but not least, I can't remember for the life of me what the hell this thread is supposed to be about nor how I came across the Dr. Phil discussion boards.

Okay, the second paragraph is all lies.

Let's all start mentioning nazis and Hitler now ;-)

(see this thread, I never knew about this: //www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=269149)

Peace.

I appreciate the contructive critism, thanks for that man!

If you don't like an image, please give me constructive critism like nsbca7.
Every helpful comment and tip I receive is very important to me because I want to learn as much as I can here, theres so much opportunity to learn on this site why wouldn't I? Lately you're posts are junk and you're definatly not helping people like me who share their endeavours. You need to grow up, that's coming from a 15 year old.

I agree, it's behind her back and it looks really cut off! Thanks

It is fair to respond honestly to a forum posted photo, as it is to a challenge photo. The element of criticism from a 15 year old is concerning though. Who you chose to learn from is your business. Just remember for all of you who continue to fall over backwards over this kid (and that is ok) to give a little of the credit to his art teacher too.
