I have found my favorite pics are those when the subject had no idea I was even there - no poses, no nerves, etc.
How about a challenge like that?

I think that would be a great idea for a challenge.

That'd be cool.

On another note, some of my favorites are when I'm out there concentrating on something ... like a trash can, or a certain person on the street for example, you snap a picture, and then you get home and go through them...and you're like WOE...I can't believe that whatever was in the background going on. Like a car wreck or someone flashing the camera or just something you had no idea was going on in the background lol...maybe that could be part of it too...like "unplanned backgrounds" or something. That's the best way I can put it.

That would be hard to plan for. LOL

That's what I thought at first, but candid doesn't necessarily mean the person isn't looking or whatever...More of a stealth challenge where no one knows you're there or the background shows that or something, is what I'm thinking of.

Candid can just mean "no set up required, etc..."

So, how do we get this in motion?? I got LOTS of pics for it and wanna use'em before the "30-day-recent" deadline is over.

Actually it's a 0-day recent deadline. You can only use photos that were taken DURING the dates that the challenge submission is open for.

What is the 30-day deadline about? I haven't come across that.

I'm still really new here - I tried and it didn't work. :( Do I have to have a website in order to do that?
09/07/2005 11:22:25 PM · #14

So does anyone here have a pic we can see of "My camera was watching"?

This is one of my personal favourites ... what is the guy in the background thinking?

Is he jealous about being out of the limelight both in the conversation and the picture? Is he trying to make a point and is resentful of the other guy's interruption? Is he secretly in love with him?

Brett
