I'm interested in taking some photography courses that are online based, due to that format most likely working out best while running my business. But I'm not sure of which sites offer reputable classes. Some that catch my interest are offered at BetterPhoto.com, and run about $267 for an 8 wk. course. Anyone have any input on this? I interested in becoming better educated about my DSLR and the technical part of taking pics and also, I need some help learning more about the best use of Photoshop.

There are litterally hundreds of online tutorials that will cost you nothing more then your time. Why pay someone for online courses when you can probably find so many more of a higher quality for free.
Start here with DPC tutorials or do a Google search.

I can only second what nsbca7 said. mourgefile is a good place too. Books are good.
There are also a plethora of mentorship programmes on DPC.
You could ask at a local Camera CLub. I have my first "lesson" tomorrow night. |
