if i have the s3 and a i use the pop up flash which is ttl how can i trigger a off camera flash to use ttl as well? such as a slave flash is that even possible?

Might wanna check in the manual. Or check documentation of the available flashes. I'm not sure if Canon even can do that, but ALL Nikons, d70 and newer can.

would that be a camera setting or would i need to buy specific hard ware
