Well I just F'ed up my camera. I was trying to clean some dust off the inside of the camera and put a big scratch on an inside peice. It is just above the mirror. It dosent effect the picture but when I look through the view finder I see this big ass scratch, I'm so pissed. How can I get this fixed?

It's most likely on the viewfinder screen, which should be easy to replace. You might even be able to do it yourself. I'm not too sure how difficult it is on the Nikons. On Canons, some of the higher-end cams have user-replaceable screens, while the lower end has fixed screens

sorry to hijack this but, I'm having a little situation with my viewfinder, or the focus screen, not sure, but it's something internal, as cleaning the outter part of the view finder doesn't help!
There's something like a "stain" of some sort on it, when I look through the viewfinder it looks like blurry and sh*t!
It's a small part of it though. If u shine some light on it, it looks like some sort of greasy thing on the glass, not sure if it's on the viewfinder or that focus screen!
Left the camera on the sun (no direct sunlight) for a couple of hours, and it didn't help!
any suggestions?

@scuds:
If the smudge is in focus as you look into the viewfinder, it's on the screen. If it way OOF, then it's elsewhere. If it's on the screen, you have access from the mirror box. Carefully examine it through the lens mount. You may be able to clean it off. Otherwise, take it to a shop and let them clean it. It might be lubricant coming from somewhere, or somethng that got in during a lens change.

It's totally OOF. Might be on the view finder glass itself! Hummm.
Can't be at lens swap, cz right now I only have the kit lens, and it won't come out off the camera.
The camera itself was in the camera bag, inside the closet for over a week, without been used. But then, I have those (not sure how it's called english) little bags with small blue beeds in it, to suck up humidity (silica???), so it can't be water.
Humm, time to take it to the repair shop
