I'm near Swindon but can easily get to Bristol, Gloucester etc.
Anyone up for a GTG?

Yay! A non-London GTG! :) In a couple of week's time I'll be living in Bristol so count me in (depending on the date and whether it's in/reasonably near to Bristol or not).

As far as I'm concerned it will not be before the end of the month, as for location I'm easy, anywhere from Torquay up and into the midlands would suit me, let's see who is interested and pick a central location :)
Note that I've just moved into the area so don't expect me to be a guide :) |

Right first up, I'm pretty new to this site, and photography in general (since january 05), and I've recently just got my first dSLR.
So - what is a GTG?
Forgive my ignorance, but seems to be a kinda meet up and take pics for a day kinda thing. If so, is there any pre-requisites?
I'm in Bournemouth until 25th September if it'll be before then? (I live in Glasgow normally). Have car, can travel.
All replies (however patronising) greatly appreciated. |

GTG is just a shorter way of typing Get-To-Gether :) No pre-requisites :)

I'm hoping to make it to Bristol towards end of first term to take my cybernephew out for food, in the way that aunts traditionally do for their student nephs/ nieces...
If your dates tie in, I'd love to come but won't be getting into dates with Ben until further into term...
