I am doing a series of pictures for my father in law as a gift of his most precious child (his corvette). The only problem is that you can see the reflection of my pink top on the back of the car. Can anyone help me get rid of that? Any other advice on this pic and the other corvette pic in my profile would be warmly welcomed. |

I am fairly new to photography and am not really sure what cloning is. Can you be a bit more specific? |

This is the other corvette pic that I am hoping people could offer me suggestions on improving. |

either clone it, or take the rectangular marquee tool and select that portion. then go to image>adjustments>hue/saturation then desaturate all the red and magenta and all that junk. dont deplete the blues though or it'll look funny.

if i was to take a picture of the corvette. i would find some signature feature on it. maybe like a distinctive air-intake thing or something. and then take a close up with that in the foreground. know what i'm saying?

Thanks, your fix on the back of the car took out all the pink. Much better! I am also going to try doing it myself using art's suggestion. I am on one huge learning curve with this gift! Thanks to both of you for your advice and help. |

I did a pic of its exhaust also, this has the corvette emblem on it as well. I have only just started processing the pics, I have about five or six all up. I took a photo of the hood with the emblem and the glove box (not sure what you call it here in the USA). It has the word corvette on it as well. I think this is what you mean by signature feature? |

what you described sounds good. by all means, my ideas are merely suggestions. but to give you an idea of what i think a signature feature would be is if you took all the badges off the car, and took a picture of some part that would immediately identify the model. like as examples, the bmw kidney grills, or the porsche whale tale. something that'll tell the viewer, "that's a bmw" or "that's a porsche" or in your case, "that's a vette"
