Wow. I have to say I'm surprised that there are so many The Notebook fans. I thought that movie was laughably bad (when not painfully bad).

THANK YOU! I'm glad I'm not the only one on the planet that feels that way. I simply cannot comprehend why people like it.

Thank you both! Did anyone NOT figure out what the ending would be within the first 10 minutes?

Still, one or two scenes were kind of hot... :-)

I really feel like watching "Dancer in the Dark" right now. I sob every time I watch it, and my score in High Contrast is really terrible. But I lent the DVD out to a friend. I do have "Vera Drake" though. Those are the two most depressing movies ever made, and I can't watch them without wanting to kill myself. Check them out! Especially "Dancer in the Dark."

Watch Finding Neverland.

Best movie of the genre (if the movie is even in a genre) I've seen this year.

When I was in Japan, the commercials for this movie only showed all of the women in the audience crying. Nothing about the movie itself, just a bunch of women in tears. Interesting marketing technique.

I never even heard of it until today. Kinda funny that I come in to the forums and everyone is talking about it.

I didn't watch it..I went downstairs and watched my son play Frogger instead. =)

I cry everytime that little frog gets run over by a car... And about gas, yes I cry about the gas that they put to run over the frog.

I agree...excellent. I also loved the one with the young boy and two older uncles? I believe the movie was last year or longer....but I do so love Robert Duval!
