Please be advised the results of the "Dairy" challenge have been recalculated due to a disqualification.

The entry previously ranked in 4th place was disqualified due to the photographer not providing their original.

It was my image that was disqualified and I just wanted to add an explanation to this thread.

Some of you may have seen my post a week or two ago

basically my hard drive went tits up and the original of my entry went with it. I am gutted, my first entry and I get disqualified, bummer!

Not complaining about being disqualified tho, the rules are good ones and ensures that everything's above board

Tough luck on the hard drive and the disqualification.

Being a good sport counts for a lot ;)

It was a cracking shot.

It is very sad. I always save the mem card with original image. But one time I did not and I feared a crash. Rest assured, you have enough talent to earn a good score on future tries.

I'm terribly sorry you got disqualified in the challenge. I look forward to seeing your future photographs as you are obviously talented.

sorry to hear that...

i lost about 3 months of photos back at the start of the year, so i know how much it hurts... the dq is just insult to injury.

(i have a dvd burner, now...)

That sux on the dq man. But you're takin' it like a true gentleman, and that rocks! 4th on your first entry? That's awesome! I'm sure you'll have many awesome pix in the future, just keep on keepin' on :-)

i know its a little late to suggest this, but you should have tried to recover the original from the memory card with one of those file recovery programs thats free.
