The good news: I took the time to critque your work.
The bad news: I'm more of a newbie than you. :)
Tall Tree Waving At Me:
I like "Big Fish" look of the main subject. I also like the trail that leads you into the photo. I felt a little distracted by the tree on the left.
Tia's Terrific Tongue:
I'm a dog-lover, and this pic sold me. I love the dogs eyes. To be honest I was staring at the eyes so much that I didn't even notice the tongue was sticking out until i re-read the title. I really like this one.
Lake Placid:
For some reason I just wasn't feeling this one. Don't know why.
Stairway to Heaven:
I'd have to give this one my vote of second favorite, second to Tall Tree. It's got that "worn/aged beachside" feel to it.
Red Sky in the Morning...:
Another one I wasn't really feeling. The color contrast wasn't doing much for me and the power lines seemed like a distraction.
Lovely Lillies:
A true flower of flower shots. I like it. Third favorite.
Blind Cat:
Cute.. not much of a cat fan mainly because of how evil their eyes look. I think you captured that here... he looks like he's up to something.
The Kai Ball and Bug-Eyed Tia:
Now those are some fine pets. Both have beautiful coats. The backgrounds in both are a little distracting, but they are both great shots.
View From the Balcony:
Another one I'm not exactly in love with. I like the type of shot, but the power lines seem to be the main focus.
This is my good side:
Beautiful plumage. Not one blemish. How were you able to convince this bird to let you approach it?
Caution Keep Away From The:
From the what? Show me more! Haha
Into the Fog:
Another great... gives the ghost-ship appearance with the fog. Would look great hanging on the wall of a nautical themed room.
In the round window:
Not sure if I've really figured this one out...
The Big H:
Another I'm not so sure about. Where'd this come from?
Scarlet Fever:
Well done. The boats make a pattern that reminds me of staged dressing room mirrors that seem to repeat into each other over and over.
Tia in the Tyre and Our Beautiful Kai:
These are my favorite pet pictures by far. The backgrounds on both are well suited for the dog's apparent attitude. Some may not like how Kai blends with the backgound but I love it. And you've obviously caught Tia having a good time and showing it.
I'm here:
Still think the cat's up to something.
Well maybe I said something worth reading all that for. Haha. If you get bored you can check out my gallery at:

Good luck getting back in the game! |

Hi All
Thanks heaps for the comments and replies thus far, much appreciated :) For me personally it's the only way to get better at photography by hearing how other people see your photos.
Cheers
