In honor of all of the recent "gas price threads", how about we have a challenge about transportation. The caveat is, no fuel powered vehicles. Be it by foot, bicycle, horse, camel, sail or what have you. Nothing that burns fossil fuels. Not sure if electric would be ok since it takes (mostly) fossil fuels to produce the electricity.

I like it ... no electric either IMHO.

EVs (electric vehicles) can be run totally off the grid thru wind or solar energy. Even if they do have to be plugged in they are still on a national average %89 cleaner than ICE vehicles. Hydroelectric, solar & wind are renewable resources that many parts of the country use.

Also if hybrid owners would just plug their cars in at night they could get over 100 mpg.
