Just saw this in the parking lot at my apartment complex last night. Its about two inches long. Never seen one before. Anyone know?

It looks like a termite got drunk, had a night with a lady wasp, and this was the result,
seriously tho, I have no idea what this is.

I was relieved to see this wasn't another DPC code bug but then horrified again when I saw it. That bug has got one giant head.

That,if I'm not mistaken, Is a Mormon Cricket. Nasty looking bugs,they burrow under ground and will stay dormant for a few years. Or is that teenagers?

I think it is called a Jerusalem Cricket or In our part of the country a sand cricket. They are the coolest looking bug. ONe of my favorites

Sorry for some reason this isn't working. You can justlook it up in your search engine. One day it works and the next it doesn't. :) I will figure this out some day.
