So I went out for a minor hike this weekend... 22 miles, 16 hours, 6,100+ feet elevation gain! I am in severe agony, but it sure feels good! Although photography was the last thing on my mind, I did have to record the moment:

Looks like an awesome hike! Did you really bring your 10D or just a P&S?

I also went on a hike this weekend, however I have one of the photos from that trip in a challenge so I won't post any photos until after the challenge ends.

I really wanted to bring my 20D but ended up taking the MUCH smaller Canon A510.

I climbed only a total of about 4400' but half of it(2200') were all within one mile.

It was fun though! Thanks for the pictures.

No, I didn't take the 10D. Just the P&S Nikon. I would love to be able to carry the 10D, tripod and lenses for all the beautiful landscape opportunities I saw. There was some amazing scenery on this hike and I will try and post some of the P&S shots I took in the next few days.
