I can only do sat and desat and not selective color changes, right? I have a white background and it's too bluish, and when I do selective color under white and remove the CYAN, it's perfect, but I'm afraid under basic, that's not allowed, is it? I'm working on shoes.

Since Selective Color is an adjustment layer, it can be used in basic editing as long as the effect is applied to the entire image.

Ok, got it. I know that you can desat specific colors, but I was speaking of the selective color under adjustments and wasn't sure if that was still ok. Well, I think I'm good to go then. THANKS!
