I'm getting really frustrated! I just called the factory where my camera's at and they still don't have any information on it. It's been sitting there for over a week and I told them that I have proof that UPS has delivered it and it has been signed for and they tell me that they can't do anything about it! WHAT?! Has anyone else had any problem like this before? |
What that much information there is no reason why shouldn't be able to help you. I would go up the Canon food chain as high as possible. You're giving them more than enough information to put the ball in their court. I see a new camera in your future.

Wow! About two minutes after that happened, FedEx showed up at my mother's office (I always have my stuff sent there since people have a hard time finding my office) and delivered a package addressed to me. I had my mom open it and sure enough, there's my camera! I hope everything is there and it's actually fixed. She's bringing it to me during lunch which is in 30 minutes. I can't wait! Canon must not keep their factory up to date on information because they still have no record of it even getting there. |

I think the problem is they have their east coast factory in northen New Jersy (armpit of America). I have found northern New Jersey to really be a cess pit of inadequacy. Try getting off the highway to use a bathroom and get a bit at McDonald's only to be led 5 miles away into boondocks. Do this three times to no avail. Finally get off at a rest stop only to find it locked. No mention that porta potties are 300 ft down the road.
Jersey sucks...
(sorry if you live there, but I don't know a single friend who has high regard for northern NJ - southern NJ, Six Flags Great Adventure, etc is actually really nice)

A fine time to find this thread. I just sent my 20D, grip, & lenses to the NJ center today. Now my fingers are really crossed! |
