Hey all, finally got an iPod (never thought I would get one of those things) because I found a beautiful barely used 20GB with a colour screen for a great price...I'm already up to about 13GB worth of music, what an exhausting task!
So, my questions is this...how many of you trust your iPod for photo storage? Any problems straight from the camera (after I buy the adapter)?
I know I can't view the photos, I know there are better photo storage devices out there...I only want to know whether you feel the iPod is reliable enough to use it as a dump bin for your CF cards out in the field.
Thanks! |

I have found it NOT be reliable. I have had my iPOD become not mountable on my mac and had to do a restore. You would lose any photo's from the iPOD that you had not sync'd with your PC. |

I don't have an Ipod but have heard that the transfer times with the adapter are very slow
