It finally came! My 70-200 f4L lens is here! All I can say is, "It's BIG!". Now time to bring this bad boy outside and celebrate :)

By the way, is it really necessary for the collar to be part of this lens?

Congrats on the new addition...and nope on the collar...the 4L really isn't heavy enough to merit the Tripod collar.

awesome man, congrats! I don't know what is wrong with me today...but I really like that yellow flower one...the composition is great.

What is the minimum focusing distance on the 70-200 f/4 btw? I would guess 6 feet throughout?

Yeah the minimum is 1.2meters so times three would be 3.6 feet roughly.
