into my yard today. It was so funny, looked like it was posing for me.

yep stick insect. I used my kit lens and put on some extension rings +1 +2 and +4. Hadnt tried them with the new camera. Didnt work out that great but cool either way.

I believe that thing is called a walking stick. I found this guy on my car the other night and decided to take a couple pictures of him. They arent very good but I'll post them anyway.

Some grow it as a pet around here ;-)
