Check out this headshot site. There is some really good work there and I got a few good pose ideas too.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned it but the first two are, crazy tight if they are actually going to be used as headshots but they are all, very well taken images.
The third is tight as well but more usable...again if they are being used to get work. If not that's another story.
I have a few in my portfloio that I took the other day, super rushed so we might go back and do them over in better light. I took 180 shots in less than 20 minutes, while the model was working behind a slow bar. Strange but fun.

Great Portraits. I checked out that headshot site too....Really good ideas there. Going out now to photograph my daughter in costumes in the woods, that ought to be fun!

Wow - very nice. I like the angles and partial facials. any specifics on lens and lighting? |

@ jbsmithana : i used one of canon's cheapest lens. The 50mm 1.8 late morning lights, outdoors.

I like #2 the best for some reason....I think b/c I'm really drawn to the beauty of her eye. Nice job on all three!

i guess most of you have not seen this kind of cropping in close up potraits before. Actually this 'style' is quite the norm in taiwan/china/japan model photography.
