No, I ordered the 1Ds Mark II last week. I'll have to wait till the new wears off before I start to worry with wanting the 5D

Dude, it just got announced slow down!

And congratulations ;-) I'll be happy to take that very heavy 20D off your hands.

Please? Pretty please?

Thanks! How can I say 'no' to such a nice "pretty please" ;-)

Please don't joke. My heart starts pounding at the even slightest bit of possibilities.

Oh, there it pounds.

I think I'll be keeping my 20D as a backup camera, until I get a hold of a used MkII.

Am I the only one that has ordered this camera? Nobody even considered buying it? If so, how come? POLL QUESTION: Will you be buying the new Canon 5D camera?

I dont believe the FF is worth the upgrade from the 20D, and i dont want to downgrade to 3 fps, also its way to much money for the camera might as well go all the way to a mkIIs if your going to spent that much.
just my opinion

Couldn't see spending that much for a camera just yet. I did buy a 350XT Monday. Should be here tomorrow.

I'd order it, but I just built a garage/barn and that's where all my money went. I'd seriously consider it if I had the cash.

i was really tempted to get one... the only thing that stopped me was my empty bank account :-p

maybe in a few years when this stock photo thing takes off I'll be able to afford a 6D.

Hopefully it's at least in a shoebox in the barn, no?

Ill be ordering mine as soon as I pay off a little more of this credit card.

I think it would be a difficult adjustment to make from my 20D. I like my long lenses, and don't want to see them "shortened" by the lack of a crop factor. And after shooting sports action with 5 fps, I think 3 fps would be frustrating. More likely than a 5D, I think my next cam will be either a MkII N or a D2X.
