Hello,

Just working on my bridge tonight. Did some color burning/dodgeing. Comments on improving my sky would help. Sky came out "white" and washed out although it was a bright clear day. I had to darken it a bit but feel it may not look natural.

Thanks,
KS

Yeah, the sky looks a little unnatural. Too blue. A couple of things that might help are 1) try adding a gradient layer with a light blue. That might work. Another option, is to try and replace the sky with a more appealing sky from another photo. Of course this is not legal in challenges but for your own pictures, it can turn out nicely sometimes.

Here's an example of a photo where I swapped out a sky with one from a different photo.
Before After

Of course, looking at your shot now, you don't have too much sky so swapping would probably be alot of work for that little patch.

Wow...I like your clouds...I'll try the gradient and then some replacement.

Thanks for your help.

Yeah, I was playing around with the gradient, it seemed to work ok. I don't think you'll be able to make the sky as vibrant as before, but it's better than the white... This is what I got...

Wow...very nice....I've been fooling around with it but can't get it right...I'm new to PS. I'll keep trying.

Thanks,
