My moon shots are really limited right now, BUT, in a couple of weeks we are going to the Rocky Mountains, and I already have in my mind some shots I want to try to get of the moon rising over those mountains. For now, this is about it.

In a "couple weeks" there won't hardly BE any moon, good luck with that one :-) Of course, not all moon shots are full moon shots, jejejeĆ¢„Ā¢

Geeze, Louise... That's absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Everyone, CLICK ON THIS SHOT: the thumbnail doesn't even hint at what's in store. Louise, is that a straight shot or a composite? If straight, what lens?

Well, Thanks Robt ! I'm glad you like it. Like John said, details are under the photo ...

Yes, this is a straight shot. I just did a few adjustments (levels and curves). I also ran it thru Neat Image because it was EXTREMELY noisy .... I don't really know why it was that noisy. After all, ISO 400 isn't that high ... I shot some pictures at a rock concert at ISO 800 and they were less noisy than this one.

Edit : This is a 100 % crop.
