Its a nice bright sunny day, I had the sun behind me no lights in front and i take this photo and all i could see was abit of the bonnet i took a few more and most of them turned out the same to.
I don't really know what setting to use when i take photos of cars. so can someone please help and also when i look at the pics on the back of the camrea they look awesome but when i put them on the computer they turn out heaps bright

I have found a polarizer helps on photographing cars cutting a lot of the glare. Is your camera's monitor brightness set incorrectly. How is your histogram looking when you shoot? I would take a reading off of P mode then go manual and stop it down a few stops if possible. And if you have the ability there is always RAW, that usually helps me in a bind.
Good luck

I'm not very familiar with your camera but if there is a way to check the histogram of your image before or during you shoot try to make sure it is evenly distributed with possibly more on the right side (the white/bright side). Too much on one side will either give you over or under processed images. You can also usually see your histogram through whatever software your using. I know there is one in PhotoShop but not sure where. Levels will usually show you a version of it too.
Can you post one or two as a sample so we can see?
