Well, I did get a bad check for $200 from a record label owner who had me do a promo packect shot of his new band. But on the good side I went to one of the Cindy Sheehan support rallies last night to take pictures and ended up submitting one to the local daily (all its photogs were out and busy). This will only be good for $25 but it does keep me active and my stuff out. Oh, and it also gives me stuff to update my web site with.
The update will be complete Tuesday after a busy weekend is over. I'll drop a link here for any comments.

"""BAD Check, if you mean as it bounced, closed account, etc."""
Send the record label owner a certified letter requesting a bank cashiers check in the amount of $200 plus fees accompanied with a letter giving him "X" number of days to pay up. Explain if he don't he will be subject to court cost. Make him aware of Illinois law...
In Illinois the fine and penalty for passing a bad check is up to $500 fine and or up to one year in jail, or both. |
