some nice shots there. a bit on the noisy side - but quite close up!

Thanks. I wasn't happy about the noise, but was grateful to get the shots. A couple of them I backed off from using the Sharpen filter, and just used the Sharpen tool to do the bird.

thought i'd mention this photo was published in our local paper yesterday. printed BW at about 5x7". they have printed a few of my shots in the last year.
