As a member you can click on portfolio>image>then able to edit any info. Not sure if you can do that or not.

Nobody can see that comment until after voting anyway. Just edit it as soon as voting is over.

Oh I see. Yeah, I'm not sure about it. I recommend ponying up the $25 to be able to make the edits, although I can't think of any other reasons to justify purchasing a membership. ;-)

busalshots,
It's not you, it's them....
"Faidoi's" response is the only one that makes much sense. Unfortunately, I can't remember if non-paying members can edit their "Photographer's Comments" section after submission (yes, and after the challenge). The "blue shirts" can edit comments.

What we need here is an experienced registered user---or someone with a good memory for such things.

Edit to say: And now Ken has caught on, too. =o

Yeah, you definetely can't edit that stuff as a registered user. I had the same question before I became a member...

I can't remember how it works for sure, but try this:

Go to your Profile Page. Hopefully you'll see a list of challenge entries. Click on the link of the one you want to edit. The page you end up on will either let you edit the info, or else you probably can't.

Yep, it's true, non-members can't edit their comments. Before I joined, I tried and tried to no avail...
