Great photos, the second one is my favorite, but they're all really good.

All of them are done in the garden outside in natural setting,I couldn't pick the background.

they suck! Well, to be quite honest, they are great as usual. Maybe I'm a bit frustrated that you seem to walk by the same things that I do, but you manage to make wonderful pictures out of them. I noticed the landscapes first, and now the flowers.

Indeed, very very very sharp. You are using a Canon 200mm 2.8. I can't seem to find it listed anywhere as Macro, is it even a macro lens?

I'm looking at the 100mm 2.8 myself.

What kind of post prod did you do to those pics? Any unsharpen or high pass to beef this shot up?

Cheers,

You are right,it is not macro, minimum focusing distance is 1.5 m (5 feet) , but that is enough for large flowers like rose to cover the whole frame.
Post -processing,levels and backgrounfd burn.

Hey Pitsaman, The sunflower and lily are excellent in all ways. The rose appears to be a bit soft to me, not sure if that's what you wanted. But the roses constrasts of red and green are perfect.
