In two weeks I will be attending a seminar with one of my favorite photojournalists, Steve McCurry. I have never attended a seminar before so I really do not know what to expect (what to bring, etc.). I'm sure some of you have been to these types of things before, so what am I to expect and how should I prepare myself before I go?

Thanks,
Lee

I attend one a month when I can fit it into my schedule. Our local Professional Photographer's Guild sponsers them. I always come away with new insight and information. I would suggest taking a notepad with you because you will hear lots of little bits that you'll likely want to write down. Don't forget a pen ;) Enjoy and let us know who it goes.

I meet Mr. McCurry at the Ann Arbor Art Fair a few years ago, and I was very suprised how down to earth he is considering he is one of the greatest photographers (especially in environmental portraiture) of the last 25 years. Hang on to every word & have fun.

I went to see George Lepp a few months ago. Definitely bring paper and pen. George shared lots of tips and weblinks for supplies and info. I'm sure Steve will do the same. Also, bring money...there may be books and other things to buy.
