*sigh*
We are writing to inform you that we have cancelled your Amazon.com
order (#xxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx) because our merchant partner informed us
that it was placed against an unauthorized listing. We have since
removed this listing and as a result are processing a refund to your
credit card. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Ooh did that come straight from Amazon? I read all of the negative feedback the seller started getting...now I guess I'll just wait for my refund too :)

LMFAO! literally 30 seconds after I post that it pops up in my inbox. At least there was no harm done.

I am thinking now... the reputation - how much do you pay for online advertising? How many items were attempted to be purchased last night (the add appeared at //techbargains.com so I must assume a few).

Is it cheaper for them to honor the orders and lose some money but get the negative feedback removed, or to cancel the orders and get enough negative feedback to practically alienate good percentage of prospective buyers...

now, I have a horse in this race, that's why I am so objective. But that's what ths politicians do every day - they have something they need, and then search for words that would appeal to other people even though that other people get screwed in the end...

I'm with you...honor the purchase and I'll leave all kinds of glorious feedback!

Yeah, no kidding.

I wish I could say that it's been a long time since I was this disappointed about something, but sadly it's not true. Which is why I especially wanted this to go well.

:-( Only beer can save me now!
