Once again it's feeding day for my python, Hobbes... I shot a sequence during the festivities, and came up with this:

I'm a little doubtful of the crop... what do you think? Is it too tight?

Looks tight for the mouse.

Yeah, it might be a little too tight. Cool snake.

sorry for not noting the graphic content... I hope no one was offended.

Thanks for the input, I'm working on another crop right now.

i was verry offended seeing as i am a white mouse~! you have probably seen the brown cow commercial's, but our society of white mice is also strong~! how dare you? lol, interesting photo~!

I love snakes, they're so interesting, but ironically, since they're illegal here, I have 6 mice to keep me company instead... :-O

Crop's uncomfortably tight, yeah. And the white balance is off by quite a bit. A little yellowish might look right, but that's WAY Yellow. Easily fixed.

Add: Oh yeah, cool shot. I had a snake I fed mice to, a long, long time ago...

Thanks for the comments. I went back and eliminated most the the crop. I originally had wanted to get the head out of the center of the frame, but I guess this looks better... As for the yellow tint, I didn't even notice it until it was brought up.. Funny how we miss things sometimes... Thanks again!

oh i fed all my snakes this evening also.
Be careful feeding him on loose bedding you dont want it to compact his bowels

That's a distinct improvement. Somewhere in between might work, crop-wise. I had a run at ti myself; also did some color shifting, a little levels on the snake, and blurred the BG with gaussian blur:

For what that's worth...
