Here's a unique photo opportunity coming up this week. Supposed to be a cool meteor shower that we can see easily (if you don't mind being out so late/early) Too bad it wasn't during the long exposure challenge!

Cool!! Now if it would only stop raining here maybe we could see it!! Wait...did I just say that??? :-P

I might get up early to enjoy the show, but wont take any photos. Remember it wont be something REALLY spectacular, just kinda a little cool to watch. I got extreamly dissapointed a few years ago by this yearly event. I read all the hype and beleived I would be blown away by awesome streaks of light across the sky.
Well there were only 10 meteors that night that were worth saying "wow" over. the rest were very fast and very faint.

as expected I was dissapointed yet again by this yearly event.
I only saw 2 meteors this morning. 1 was real nice and bright the other was pretty dim. I though I saw a 3rd one but it was just my eyes playing a trick on me as I was looking down at the grass at the time.
