Simple question,..
what is the best features i need in a monitor to have the best picture quality for photoes?
you know.. seeing true color and not something you see and print differently (even after adobe gamma)
i have really bad screen now and i have an ofer to buy "polyview v293"
which has contrast 1:800 and refresh rate 25ms..
so what do you guys think?

I also don't know too much, but I've just bought a Sony SB95AB 19" flat panel. 800:1 is better than my 700:1 Sony (which is pretty high itself), but the 25ms response time (it's not "refresh rate") is slower than the 16ms of my Sony. I considered a Sony just below mine (£10 difference), which was 25ms, so I guess there might not be a lot in it.
Sorry, that's the best I can offer..
