Tomorrow, I will start my life again. I hand over my keys, finish briefing the new boss and walk away from a job that has really caused me stress. I am throwing away a huge salary that gave my husband and I a really good standard of living and after 31st August we will have little money coming in and a huge mortgage but I shall be free!
I have no new job so we are thinking about selling our house and buying a bed & breakfast business or something similar - we just don't know at present.
Half of me feels guilty but the other half just knows I would not have lived until I was 60 if I had carried on.
SO - wish us luck and please let the gods look kindly on us!!!

| Best of luck to you. I know you will do great. Let us know which town and what you will call the Bed & Breakfast and if we are ever there I will stop in for a meal and pillow. |

Definitely! All photographers from DPC get a discount - as long as they have commented on my portfolio!:))) |

| Congrats! A scary endeavour but one that will be rewarding, I'm sure. Make sure to spend lots of time on photography while you're in between whatever you're doing! |

| Well done, I took a similar step a few years ago from a secure well paying job that I hated, to... nothing. I quickly landed on my feet though, good luck! |

Thank you SOOOO much for your good wishes. I really doubted my sanity in doing this but I just know it will turn out right!
The people on this site are just the best! I just so wanted someone to tell me I wasn't totally crazy and throwing our lives away!
Discount depends on what you say in your comments!!!!! :)

You have a great deal of courage to make this decision. I think you have NOT made a mistake. This is GREAT!!!!
