Nagasaki remembrance day
Just a reminder. Today is the 60th anniversary of Nagasaki, Hiroshima was a few days ago. I watched a documentary on the after-effects caused by Radiation Sickness a few days ago .. and noted today. The above link is to an msn article from today's ceremonies in Japan.

| Fair enough our country was at war with them back them but sheesh...that'd be a nasty thing to cop! Hopefully never to happen again! |

| You can believe that if Japan/Germany had the bombs they would have surely used them on Briton and the US for sure. |

shoulda woulda coulda isn't really the point of today
that's like saying 9/11 wasn't a big deal because the US bombs other people all the time - in shear numbers alone, compare 140,000 dead in Hiroshima in seconds and 75,000 in Nagasaki, to 6000 who died (albeit tragically) during 9/11.
