It might be just a couple of bytes over or something. Try reducing the Canvas size (cropping the image) by two pixels in each direction and see what you get. |

What's the possibility that you've reached your storage limit? |

It's a Duotone image, would that make a difference?

No. It's not specific to that picture, right? My guess is there is a problem with a setting on your computer, like a popup blocker, or a firewall app, that's interfering. When was the last time you uploaded an image to DPC? Have you made ANY changes since then? Added software? Upgraded anything? If not, I think it's time to send a message to Drew and/or Langdon. |

Thanks for helping on this;) Last time I uploaded an image was my version of the Heida picture. I haven't done anything to the PC since then.
Can you tell me - the box where you change the file sixe to 150 - what should be in the box - I have 'unnamed' is that right? |

I'm assuming you're using PhotoShop. Save for Web. In that Settings field it will say [unnamed]. That's OK. Click the little arrow to the right of that field (not the dropdown). Click Optimize to File Size. Input 150 in the field. Leave the other selections on Current Settings & Current Slice.
This also assumes you've set your image size already. |

Yes, you must convert from Duotone to RGB mode and save in JPEG format. If it's in actual Duotone mode, it can only be saved in Photoshop or EPS format, neither of which will work here. |

I've just rebooted - so am about to try Again! I did convert it to RGB an saved it as a jpeg. I also tried uploading another non duotone image to my portfolio and got the same message.

when saving, For some reason, you need to make the picture about 148mb There is information in the picture that will take it to the 150mb mark. I had the same problem until i made it a tiny bit smaller than 150mb.

From reading the error it seems it's nothing to do with your photo. It looks like it could be a problem with your internet provider not permitting the upload of large files. Have you tried uploading the file to any other free image hosting websites such as //www.imageshack.us/ to see if it works there?

Ben, Ken P thought the same thing. Why has it suddenly started today? Only thing I can think of is that its a national holiday here today - but why that should make a difference is beyond me.
I got someone to upload it for me, and I'll try that site, thanks;)
