I'm thinking of selling my 20D kit lens, and a Quantaray 70-300mm tele-macro. Any idea of what I could get for these and would anyone here be interested? I want to upgrade to at least "1" good lens.

Get the Sigma 18-50 2.8 EX DC and Sigma 70-300 4-5.6 APO DG Macro Super 2.
As to what you can get...
kit lens $70 or so.
Hmmm..quantaray..1/2 what you paid? $100? Any idea who makes it? I rarely see that brand come up on ebay so i have no idea.

ok..well I'm hoping to get about $150-200 for the pair. Probably won't get that, but I can still hope. I hope to find a decent all around lens for general photos, I shoot alot of model portfolios, so that would be my biggest area to use it.

Neither has a very good resale value (especially the Q-Ray)... I'm guessing 150 tops for both...
Then again I sold a Canon 55-200mm on ebay for as much as they could get it new at a local shop. |
