Hey,
I recently discovered how much really old, antique stuff we have lying around the house, including several vintage cameras...
.........................
Mamiyaflex (approx.1940-60)..............Yashica-44 (approx.1950-60)
These are more artsy type pics so you can's really see much of them, and I have a few others. Now, I'm not planning on selling them, but was curious as to what price they would go for these days. Anyone have any guesses?

Twin Lens Reflex are fun cameras! I played with a friends Seagull (inexpensive medium format TWL camera) and its alot of fun. Takes some getting used to though becasue then you look at the viewfinder, the scene moves right when you move the camera left and viceversa!

Yeah, I really wanted to test them out, but we don't have the right size film (I don't think they even make it anymore). Our whole downstairs is practically devoted to film developement (my dad's a school photog.), but the machines can't process that size either. So, the cameras are a lost cause.Besides being nice decorations (and photo subjects:-), they don't really serve any purpose.
So, nobody knows how much they might be worth?

The film definitely exists - it'll be standard Medium Format stuff (rolls of type "120"), but it does require specialist developing due to the larger format. Which reminds me, I should play about with my Holga and Seagull TLR some more... :o)
